Private Residence 01

Designed as an “urban campground” this residence was designed in three pods connected by a long curved art gallery. This family grew up with traditions of large gatherings, extended stays and living life outdoors as much as possible. Finishes and fixtures are bold and durable much like outdoor gear and camping equipment. Entire walls of glazing open out to views of wooded slopes and up to the surrounding mountain peaks. The home includes a 2 bedroom/bathroom guest wing on the south end of the gallery with its own sitting room and private entrance. On the north end of the gallery is a one bedroom/bath guest apartment built over the 4-car garage, with a large deck overlooking the pool terrace. There are also two guest suites and a theater in the basement.
