Uintah County Public Library

Vernal, Utah

The award winning Uintah County Library is a hybrid facility that combines the features of a library with the interactive and social aspects of a community center. The library is located in the heart of Vernal and its central location allows the entire site to feed and interact with other downtown amenities.

The project provides ample daylight through its generous use of glazing. It includes such features as a multi-purpose conference room, computer and technology learning areas, dedicated young adult and youth spaces, study rooms, and an outdoor plaza which connects to the existing downtown park.
