Michael was an award-winning software engineer/ product manager — formally contextual inquiry, heuristic evaluations, and human-computer interaction. In other words, an interpreter who translates customers’ dreams to teams. He changed careers and with a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Utah 2014, he finished NCARB AXP and recently started ARE. Michael’s architecture experience includes hospitality, offices, and manufacturing. He believes great architecture design is a living chemistry of principles including: Vernacular, Biomimicry, Gestalt, Net-Positive Energy, & Cradle-to-Cradle.
Travels include Germany, Czech Republic, Philippines, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Korea. Fifty-mile backpacking trips with Boy Scouts include Kings Peak and Zions. Favorite family vacation is the beach. Timpanogos Cave Trail is his psychological exercise. He loves speed and motorcycles off and on road. Riding to work in summer, he obeys the speed-limit, most of the time.
