Founder

Fred grew up in Pocatello, Idaho where he began his study of Architecture at Idaho State. He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Utah and Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

Upon returning to Salt Lake, Fred was instrumental in forming Architects/Planners Alliance in 1969. In 1980 he formed Babcock Pace which later became Babcock Design Group.

Fred has designed everything from  residential to large institutional, commercial, and office buildings and still has a passion for custom residential. He always believed in having a broad range of projects for the firm.

When asked why Fred is still designing homes he said, "It's all about pleasing the client."  He loves to see them smile.

It is all about pleasing the client.
